Christian education in the Episcopal Church is based on scripture, tradition and reason., all of which are reflected in our education offerings. Church school holds Sunday morning classes (9:30 during the school year) for persons of all ages.
The nursery provides a loving, caring environment for our youngest members. Two adults are in attendance at all times.
Children age3 through 5th grade participate in Godly Play. This approach helps children to explore their faith through story, to gain religious language, and to enhance their spiritual experience through wonder and play.
Older youth attend youth classes to explore their developing faith in a friendly, non-threatening environment.
The adult forum provides 45 minute programs of relevant religious interest to a largely adult audience. An energetic effort is made to create a diverse schedule that will attract all members of the church over the course of the year. The group meets at 9:30 on Sunday mornings in the parish hall.
Godly Play on the Road
A team of parishioners travels monthly to a local nursing home to join residents in singing, creating crafts, playing games, praying, and hearing a Godly Play story.
Women’s Bible Study
This group meets at 10:00 on the 2nd Thursday of each month to study scripture and grow in faith, sharing personal reflections and deepening relationships. All women are welcome.
