We at Grace Church extend a cordial welcome to you to worship with us. Whether you are a new Episcopalian in town or are looking for a church home, we invite you to join us.

Our congregation is a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion, of which the Church of England is the mother church. We are a member parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri and the Episcopal Church, USA.  We have been a part of the Jefferson City community for more than 160 years.  We cherish diversity in our congregation.

The Episcopal Church strives to live by the message of Christ, in which there are no outcasts and all are welcome.  Walking a middle way between Roman Catholicism and Protestant traditions, we are a sacramental and worship-oriented church that promotes thoughtful debate about what God is calling us to do and be as followers of Christ.

The center of our common life is the altar. The Eucharist (Holy Communion) is celebrated twice each Sunday, mid-day Wednesdays, and Holy Days. We invite to the Lord's Table all baptized persons who confess the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, regardless of their particular church affiliation.

We try earnestly to live out our faith in our community.

Visitors Guide

When visiting our church, please sign the guest book located on a table in the entryway near the sanctuary.

The Children’s Tree holds canvas bags of items to help entertain children while they attend services with the grown-ups.  It stands to the left of the entrance to the sanctuary.

 Nursery Care

Nursery care is located just to the left of the Adams Street entrance.  Nursery care is provided for infants and children age six and younger during Sunday school and during the main Sunday service.

Restrooms

The family and women’s restrooms are located on the main floor just beyond the nursery.  The men’s restroom is up the short flight of stairs to the right of the women’s restroom.
