Ash Wednesday Imposition of Ashes with the Holy Eucharist

Lent, the holy season of penitence and fasting in preparation for the Great Feast of Easter, begins with the fast of Ash Wednesday, which falls on February 26th this year. Our Ash Wednesday services will take place at 12:10 pm and 6:30 pm, with both services in the main church. Come begin this holy season with us through the imposition of ashes, a traditional symbol of penitence and of our mortality. Through the liturgy of Ash Wednesday and the season of Lent we recognize our shortcomings and our need for God's grace.
